Ohio is proud to steward three Great American Treasures, historical sites that help us tell the remarkable story of our nation and Ohio, including every twist and turn in the long, winding road that got us here, as well as art and artifacts at our Gallery in the Cincinnati Art Museum that reflect this historical time of our nation.  Newly-minted citizens wanted their spaces to reflect their new station in life and the opportunities they found in the United States—whether that meant building a large, stately home or a simple wooden cottage.
