Ohio 2024-2025 Region II Spotlight Society

It is Ohio’s honor to be the 2024-2025 Region II Spotlight Society and have the opportunity to award the American Heritage Award. The Ohio Society Board, after careful consideration, voted unanimously to present the award to the William Henry Harrison Riverfront Park. Specifically the funds will go towards a carillon at the William Henry Harrison Memorial. The carillon will be played during holidays and special events. The park and its close proximity to the William Henry Harrison Memorial conforms to the NSCDA mission statement of actively promoting national heritage through historic preservation, patriotic service and educational projects.
